Ma. Corazon Cojuangco-Aquino
1933 - 2009Last Saturday (Aug.1) at about 3am, former president and mother of Philippine democracy, Cory Aquino had joined our Lord due to cardio-respiratory arrest. She was 76.
She succumbed to colon cancer after fighting for 1.5 years.
She'll best be remembered for standing against dictatorship during the 1986 People Power. A very spiritual person (known for the rosary which was given to her by Sister Lucia of Fatima), and a loving mother.
She'll truly be missed. Please do include her in your prayers. May she now be at peace with Ninoy and our Lord.
